Do i need to go to the hospital? i got really bad period cramps!!!!?

i have the worst cramps in the world they make me want to cry but this time it actually made me cry they hurt so bad i cant sleep sually my priod is really heavy but im only spotting nd i hav horrible cramps when im bleeding i dont have cramps. the cramps are traveling thru my legs up my back and to my shulders the cramps feel like someone digging a knife in you i want to die can somene help me. and girls help only because guys dont know what they are talking about!!!! but plz help!!!!
