Having a party- police advice etc?

okay, so i'm having 15 people round to my house, but we are worried that people think its a party and their are possible gate-crashers. but my dad doesnt know about this, (please don't give me lectures on what i'm doing) but if we were to ring the police, would they have to contact my dad? i am 15 and there will be no alcohol there x
