My german shephard females are 6mo old and wont stop digging all over my yard!!?

They only get left out if we leave the house.. I'm here most of the day and they are inside with us they have plenty of toys and shade outside I just wish they would stop digging huge deep holes every where in my back yard.. they are tryin to dig under the fence all around it and some random holes in the middle of yard!
