How can I spend other people's Tesco clubcard points?

I foolishly bought somebody else's Tesco clubcard points on Ebay hoping to convert them into triple value for train tickets, as advertised by Tesco. I've now noticed that I can only use points than have been awarded to me. What can I actually do with these vouchers? Just use them instore for their regular value? Thanks in advance.
